History is a great discipline, which can be enjoyed in many different ways. In this feature I shall list my favourite time travelling tools: documentaries, period dramas, podcasts, books, and of course, locations, etc. Each tool shall be subdivided into several categories of history such as:
Royal History, History of the Common Man, and on occasion
Shakespeare, History of London and History of the English Language.
 

Why Top 8 and not Top 5 or Top 10?  As a big fan of our Royal History, I wanted to do a small homage to the regnant numerals of our sovereigns, and the highest we have gone up to is 8, with Henry VIII and Edward VIII.
